Hallertau Mittelfrüh

This classic German hop has an herbal/floral character and smooth bitterness, making it an ideal choice for brewing lagers, especially traditional pilsners.
Hallertau Mittelfruh is one of the original four Noble hops, and is categorized as a "landrace" hop, meaning that it grew and adapted naturally over time in its native region. Its name is derived from the region of Hallertau, the world's largest hop growing region, and the German word mittelfrueh meaning "middle-early", referring to the early middle part of the growing season when it's ready to be harvested.
The majority of its oil content comes from Humulene which provides the floral, herbal, and spicy character. Clean, crisp, and perfect for your next pilsner or hoppy lager.
