Collection: Airlocks, Grommets & Rubber Stoppers

Airlocks are a piece of homebrewing equipment generally filled with water or sanitizer (or sometimes vodka). They act as one-way valves that allows CO2 created during fermentation to escape the fermentation vessel, but will not allow in contaminants like bugs or bacteria. Airlocks are generally located and secured on the top of your fermenter using a rubber stopper (bung) or grommets to create an airtight seal.
