Referred to as both New Zealand Motueka and B Saaz hops, this hop varietal has a clear lineage from the Saaz line. Bright notes of lemon, lime, and tropical fruits make Motueka a versatile brewing ingredient that compliments an array of beer styles.
The normal alpha acid range is 6.5% to 8.5%. Motueka is most commonly used in IPAs, pale ales, and Belgians, but also brightens-up lagers and European ales.
