Hydrometer for testing alcohol levels in distilled spirits. Will only work in solutions of ethanol and water, will not read the alcohol levels of beer or wine. Reads alcohol percentage on scale of 0-100%, and "Tralle's scale" (Proof) on a scale of 0-200.
While the packing tube can be used as a test jar, we recommend the taller 14" Plastic Hydrometer Jar for testing & measuring samples with this model. (The 10" Hydrometer Jar is just a bit too short for this one.
